“The WEEK!”
July 16-20 9AM-Noon
One entire week of creative middle school events (for students going
into 6th-8th grades this fall). This week is a great chance for
your middle school student to make new friends over the summer and
experience some new and exciting activities...
Monday, July 16 Kick-Off at White Cliff Park
Some crazy games and lunch. Leave from church 9 AM.
Tuesday, July 17 Servant Event
Serving at Orphan Grain Train downtown
Please bring 1 bag of non-perishable groceries
Leaving from church 9 AM
Wednesday, July 18 Movie Day
@ Science Center Omnimax Theatre
Movie TBA
Leave from church: 9 AM.
Thursday, July 19 9AM-3PM
Spelunking!
Explore a cave across the river in Illinois. Don’t miss this unique opportunity!
A list of supplies will be provided Mon-Wed that students should bring
(flashlights, clothing, etc). Leave from Church 9AM
Friday, July 20
Bike Hike
a bike tour down Grant’s Farm Trail (~6mile trail)
Leave from church: 9AM. Bring bicycle, helmet, H2O
Cost: $10 before June 10, $20 before July 8
The Logistical Paragraph:
Most of the events take place off site from church. Please have
your student at church by the time specified so that we can leave
promptly! Please note any items that your student should
bring.
