Taking Jesus to the Streets

 

Taking Jesus to the Street is a ministry of our partner church, Bethlehem Lutheran Church in north St. Louis.  This ministry is impressive and inspiring as people reach out to the community in creative and Gospel-centered ways.  It is a great family ministry that leads people to connect into Bethlehem’s VBS, youth programs, and especially worship. 

 

The typical format for Sunday evenings is to meet at Bethlehem at 5:00 pm; the music begins at 5:30; a skit at 6:00; and then time is spent with some children talking and doing a craft project.  By 6:30 it is over.  On weekday evenings the schedule is pushed back one hour. 

 

The available nights are: Monday, May 17; Monday, May 24; Sunday, May 30; Sunday, July 11; Sunday, July 12; Sunday, July 25; and Monday, July 26.  As in the past, people can come later and meet us at the site.  Your small group can sign up by contacting Pastor Schmidtke, stljrs3@aol.com.
