Some Primary Fundraising Estimates
Candy Bar sales Ongoing
Students can buy boxes of candy bars from a local vendor and sell the candy, using the profit for their trip.
A box costs $25 and will retail for $50,
a student could make $100 with the profit from 4 boxes.
STUDENTS MAY NOT SELL CANDY IN CHURCH ON SUNDAYS.
Need: a parent to take candy bar box orders periodically and pick up from the vendor.
Christmas Cookies -- late December 04
Fuddruckers -- February 05
Choose a date (other than Saturday) and a 4-5 hour block of time
Sunset Hills Fuddruckers
Manager will provide flyers for distribution
We can advertise in the church bulletin, CCLS Crusader (other?) and arrange to hand out flyers to friends and family and CCLS families Flyers must be presented at time of purchase. Youth Ministry receives 20% of each bill.
Need: a parent to arrange date, collect flyers, include item in the bulletin, contact CCLS, and communicate to families.

Some random numbers:
Concordia raised ~$20,000 on 500 cars (made $40/car)
If we made $25/car on 250 cars, wed make $6250.
$30/car on 250 cars would be $7500
The high ends of those numbers still leave us at $14735, about $5000 short of $19700.
Some, of course, are linked to an individual students initiative (candy bars sales for example).
Note that Advent and Lent dinners are not included. If they dont make money as fundraisers, we might as well plug them as a youre moneys no good here servant event.
