The Church Has Left the Building!!

Join with Webster Gardens Lutheran church for Faith in Action month, beginning Sunday April 6, 2008. During this month we will focus on biblical compassion, service and Christ’s heart for those in need through special small groups, daily devotions, and sermons during our worship services. The themes for the four weeks of the Faith in Action month are:

Sunday, April 6th - Week 1: Detour:
God uses “detours” to get our attention and help us see what’s really important.

Sunday, April 13th - Week 2: Lens:
When we refocus our vision we begin to see the world as God does.

Sunday, April 20th - Week 3: Drop:
God uses small activities and multiplies the results. We can each make a difference.

Sunday, April 27th - Week 4: Party:
We experience joy and spiritual reward when we put our faith in action.

Be a part of our Community Blow Out day on Sunday April 20 from 1-5pm when we will go out and serve our community. We will be serving through several service projects, all designed to directly touch lives and reflect Christ’s love to others in our community. There will be a project for everyone. Join us for a little hard work mixed with genuine caring and friendship.

Small groups will meet for four weeks beginning the week of April 6, 2008. Through a DVD presentation, discussion questions and daily FaithStep devotions, small groups will explore how individuals and our entire church body can focus on serving others in need. Sign up to join a small group for this four-week study.

We are not just serving the community, but with the community. Together, we can make a difference in our community.
