We live in an age when most people assume that they are free to pick and choose what they want to believe about their religion and “spirituality”.  Lutherans, disagree.  What we believe is not a choice; it is given to us.  The Book of Concord expresses the teachings we believe; however, for many people—even Lutherans—it is an obscure and mysterious book.  Join Pastor Biermann in the fellowship hall as together we delve into treasures that are waiting inside our church’s confession…and in the process you will find out what it is that you believe!

As Christians we have a complicated relationship with the world.  It can be tempting to write off the world as "lost" and "evil" but we know on the final day God will be redeeming all of creation. In the mean time we are called to serve within this world.  This class will explore what the Bible has to say about our relationship to the world, and work through some of the problems we face relating to the world in our everyday lives.
