about stones. The mistakes in our lives are like stones. We call them sins. Sins in our lives are significant, heavy, and seemingly impossible to
destroy. They seem to stack up in our lives, taking up more and more space every day. Sin is the one thing we all have in common. This Lenten season
we're going to talk about 'STONES" and coming to grips with them. We all have them. We all deal with them. We all need to rid ourselves of them.
That's what Jesus Christ has done through His life, death, and resurrection. Come and join the Body of Christ as we travel together through this Lenten
season beginning with Ash Wednesday, February 17 at 11 am or 7 pm.
God’s Word speaks to us, and when we encounter Him in His Word, we
are never the same! When we encounter the Living Word, we
encounter God Himself!
God has put us here to declare the Living WORD to all … to those who
enter through our doors and to those who pass by on the street!
That is why we are so excited about our art glass windows. They
are a clear, unmistakable declaration of the Living WORD, revealed in
the written Word.
Under the theme, “The Word Revealed” the two art glass windows that
flank the cross above the altar were dedicated to the glory of God on
Sunday, January 10. The windows were designed by world-renowned
artist Kenneth von Roenn. Each of the 12’ x 26’ windows is
a revelation of the Living Word in the words from Scripture, words from
the original texts of Martin Luther, and words from Luther’s 95 Theses
that are imbedded into the glass. Come and experience the Living
Word through the written Word of God.
